2010/2011 Woodland Trust Scotland

Moncreiffe Hill is a newly aquired woodland owned and managed by Woodland Trust Scotland. Officially opened to the pubic on 19th March 2011.

Designed, created a sculpture trail based on the microcosm, optical illusions and woodland awareness, including the design of an illustrated map of the walk for children.

Involved up to delivery and installation of all pieces carved in Oak.

2009/10 Glenrothes town 60th anniversary

Commisioned by the Glenrothes Town Twinning association for the Lomond Centre where they are located. All poles carved in Douglas fir and range from 3-9mtrs in height. All designed by the artist and are based on the local community and history of the town. A further pole related to the electronics industry will be installed later in 2011.

2008 Woodland Trust Scotland, Pressmennan Wood sculpture trail

Designed & created Glingbobs and Tootflits, fantasy woodland based creatures that inhabit dead and dying trees. Installed the homes of these creatures amongst several carvings as waymarkers along the walk, including an interpretive car park feature.

Also created an illustrated map/leaflet for children that accompanies the walk. An exciting way for parents and children to enjoy a woodland walk with the hunt for where these creatures live. Featured in Daily Telegraph 'Top 10 British Walks' and Scotland on Sunday 'Walk of the Week' . For more details including downloading map and directions go to The Woodland Trust

2008 Perthshire Big Tree country project

Designed and created several carved benches for high profile sites in Perthshire. Commissioned by Perth and Kinross Country Side Trust. for the Big Tree Project. All benches carved in home grown Oak with hand carved lettering of well known quotations amongst other interpretive details. Involved up to co-designing and commissioning fixings and delivery.
